This is such a lovely post. I’ve certainly experience boredom in my practice over the years - with the asana, with the meditation, with the study. I love the connection you make between boredom and restlessness. And of course, with fear. I think boredom in my practice is usually a bit scary for me. I’m generally accustomed to having such interest and enthusiasm for yogic studies… and when that isn’t there, I feel unsure and also somewhat unsupported. I think boredom and doubt are probably my least favorite and most uncomfortable of the obstacles… also because they are less familiar. So I am a bit less skilled at working with them. The suggestion to go right into the boredom sounds a little scary! But interesting! One advantage of my long phase of forced rest is that it has built up in me a great thirst for practicing/practices… no boredom this month, but I know it will be back. Thanks for this share so we can return to it. ♥️🙏🏻
